Infertility can be a heavy burden both in term of finances as well as coping emotionally. Having a child or children is the completion of a family for many people. To be informed that they are unable to conceive a baby can be heart wrenching. For those who turn to infertility treatments, the cost can be hefty. However, this life journey need not be too stressful.

Infertility Financial Aid Options

Most infertility treatments are expensive. This is where the infertility financial aid programs come in handy. Most patients cannot afford to finance all the cost of infertility treatments by themselves. There are the options to take out a bank loan as well as other credit facilities. You may also borrow against collateral such as your insurance policies. Your infertility clinic may have a financial aid advisor that can assist you in this matter. The clinic may have several infertility financial aid companies that they work with on a regular basis. Do your little research into all options before deciding.

There are several noteworthy infertility financial aid options. The first one is the Invitro-fertilization (IVF) Refund Scheme. This infertility financial aid allows you to go for a certain number of IVF cycles and will repay you for those cycles if you do not get pregnant within a specific time frame. There are certain restrictions with this form of infertility financial aid. There is a qualifying age limit; you may have the choice of a reduced payment to cater for a certain amount of cycles, choice of 70 to 100 percent refund amounts. All these are important factors to consider when you choose your infertility financial aid.

You may want to look into other form of infertility financial aid. You can always try to get yourself an unsecured or secured bank loan to pay for the infertility treatments. The are some organizations that offer special loans designed for financing of IVF.

You may also be able to secure a kind of infertility financial aid that gives refund if rate there is no baby produced. You should check your individual heath insurance policy to see if the procedures are covered. Whatever form of infertility financial aid you chose, it should give you a peace of mind so that you can concentrate on your treatments.

i have been using this monitor for 4 months now, and each month the readings go high, peak, peak high, at the appropriate days as i guess, as i have a 32/36 day cycle. it varies month to month.
this month the reading has been high, and has stayed high for the past 11 days. i’ve not got a peak reading yet.

my husband has had 2 sperm tests, the 2nd was better after making changes to diet/lifestyle.

i went for a blood test to check my day 21 progesterone i’m waiting on results.
we are both in our early-mid 20’s.

i have been checking my cm every month, and it has changed every month like it should, as i have seen the ewcm every month. this month, i have had ewcm for 11 days now, which matched the monitor, so i think i am ovulating.

does anyone think the monitor may be wrong? the instructions state that if i have had a high reading for 19 days, it will be unlikely that i will be fertile the entire time.

has this ever happened to anyone? did anyone have to go for tests and what did they find out/prescribe and was it successful? did you go on to become pregnant and have a healthy baby?

i know it’s a long qn but please don’t skim it i need serios experienced answers please. we have been ttc for 10 months and we have sex every other day.
thanks!
glad to hear of someone else in the same situation! did you check your cervical mucus? i have lots of it which makes me think i may be ovulating, but maybe this happens before??

I am doing a research paper for my senior seminar and I wanted to see if there was a direct connection between infertility and a happy marriage. I have PCOS and when I was trying to conceive it was real hard on my marriage. The stress of hoping this would be the time; cost and not having anyone to really talk too made things harder on the relationship. I did however finally conceive and now I have a little girl. My marriage has been very good since. I want to know if my experience is rare, do most marriages grow stronger through this time or hit hard patches as mine had. I don’t need to know your name just your opinion on how your marriage has been since starting treatments. I can be emailed directly if you want to share more or you want only me to know your story fivefour29@yahoo.com

If you want an increased sex drive and to enhance libido then this diet with natural supplementation will do it for you - remember you are what you eat! What you put into your body will increase not only your overall well being but also your Libido.

Before we look at specifics that should be in your diet lets make some points that maybe obvious but are very important.

Passion killers includes: Alcohol, smoking and recreational drugs so if you take them cut down or even better stop! Also if you are not fit improve your fitness levels, with gentle exercise; 30 minutes a day is enough. It can be a brisk walk or taking the stairs rather than the lift - just get your heart rate up.

Today, we always try and take short cuts with our diet - don’t. Avoid too many processed foods and eat as “naturally from the earth” as possible lots of lean meat fresh fruit and vegetables.

Now let look at some important nutrients that are very important to enhance libido

L argentine

This nutrient is highly important for libido.

L argentine is produced naturally by the body but declines with age but it’s vital for nitric oxide secretion. This chemical allows the blood vessels of the penis to relax and blood to flow in causing an erection. If you don’t get enough you won’t get an erection - period. As it declines with age get it as a supplement.

A recent study showed an 80 percent improvement in the erectile function of men given 2.8 grams of argentine a day for two weeks.

Gingko Bilbao

Blood flow is critical to wellness generally and sex drive and Gingko Bilbao improves blood flow to the brain and enhances blood flow to extremities, such as the legs, and genitals and functions as an anti-oxidant in the body. It helps inhibit lipid per oxidation of cell membranes, which is a process that leads to clogging of the arteries, or atherosclerosis. It also helps lift your mood, fights depression.

Not only does it help blood flow which is vital to enhance libido it helps you cope better with stress and fatigue which are known passion killers.

Ginseng

Ginseng another great all round wellness supplement to make you feel better and combat low libido. Ginseng is stimulating and restorative, improving both physical and mental energy, stamina, strength, alertness and concentration.

In its role as an adaptogen, it also helps you adapt to physical or emotional stress and fatigue. It has a normalizing effect on hormone imbalances and boosts metabolic rate as well as improving blood flow to the genitals. The most popular herb supplement in the world and with good reason it makes you feel better, fights stress and fatigue and helps blood flow.

Selenium

Selenium is believed to be good for sperm motility and mobility; nearly 50% of the selenium in a man is in the testes and seminal ducts. Getting enough selenium is therefore vital for peak sexual performance and you can take it as a supplement or get it in oily fish 3 - 5 portions a week.

Zinc

Zinc is required for the production of testosterone and zinc content of the prostate gland and sperm is higher than in any other part of the body. A deficiency of zinc is associated with numerous sexual problems, including sperm abnormalities and prostate disease. Zinc not only helps produce testosterone, but also helps to maintain semen volume and levels of testosterone; increase sex drive and keeps sperm healthy.

Magnesium

Magnesium is a mineral that is important for the production of sex hormones, such as androgen and estrogen and neurotransmitters that modulate the sex drive such as dopamine and norepinephrine in the brain that get you in the mood.

Vitamin A

Helps regulate the synthesis of the sex hormone progesterone.

Vitamin B1

Thiamin (B1) is essential for optimal nerve transmission and energy production throughout the body - which means it’s essential for peak sexual performance.

Vitamin C

Participates in the synthesis of hormones that are involved in sex and fertility: androgen, estrogen and progesterone.

Vitamin E

Often referred to as the main sex vitamin, it’s a powerful anti aging antioxidant that protects cell membranes from free-radical damage and is required for the synthesis of hormones and hormone like substances known as prostaglandins.

If you have a balanced healthy diet you should be getting all the above however if you are not then take supplements. We have included a couple of herbs: Ginseng and Gingko Bilbao which are both great sex drive and body tonics and you can add another few that are proven to increase libido.

Horny Goat weed is more than a catchy name it helps increase nitric oxide production mentioned earlier and also helps increase testosterone levels as well as acting as a great body tonic and is an excellent natural libido enhancer.

Another great herb is - Cnidium which is one of the most effective natural remedies to boost libido and to treat impotence. It works just like prescription drugs to increase nitric oxide release and inhibit PDE-5. This enables an erection to be maintained for longer period of time. Finally, Cnidium also helps promote better blood circulation.

If you include the above in your diet your libido and sex drive will increase and you will also feel better! Remember you are what you eat and give you body the right fuel by including the above in your diet and you will enhance your sex drive naturally.

Deciding to seek out treatment for infertility related problems is a big step in an individual’s life. It can also be a major step for couples, as they decide to take a proactive step towards finding effective treatment options. There are different paths people can take on their journey to accomplishing their reproductive goals.

Infertility treatment can be a confusing and emotional time for those in need of help. With so many people telling them different things, they may begin to feel lost or hopeless as they try to figure out their best course of action. Fortunately for them, however, having a lot of options is a good thing, and if the people handing out advice are doctors or reproductive scientists, the advice is probably good. There are many different treatment options one has when seeking an infertility treatment. The individual’s problems usually require a specific treatment, which can, and should, be discussed with a physician.

One of the most important steps in a successful infertility treatment, after deciding to seek help, is consulting with one’s physician. The doctor will be able to give them a lot of good, valuable information, which they can use to make their decision. Some patients decide to forego the treatment altogether after speaking with the doctor and deciding that their options to do not fit their plan or goals. Sometimes treatment is not the right choice for couples or individuals seeking help and speaking with a physician prior to undergoing any treatment will allow them to make that decision.

The best thing a couple can do when seeking infertility treatment is lay out a plan or draw a line regarding the pros and cons of each treatment and how far they are willing to take their treatment. Undergoing treatment can be strenuous and challenging for many people. Couples and/or individuals must decide if they are willing to go through this experience before it is too late. Decide from the get go if surgery is in the cards for your plan, as some infertility treatment options require surgery. Before you go spending a good deal of your hard earned money on treatment, decide how far you and your partner are willing to go to find a successful treatment.

Common treatments for infertility include in vitro fertilization, Intracytoplasmic sperm injection, intrauterine insemination, surrogacy and hormonal medications and treatments. While these large, complicated names may sound confusing upon reading them, your doctor can help explain them in great detail. Getting all the details is always a wise decision in many things one does in their life. Undergoing treatment for infertility issues is no different, as having all the details, or as many as humanly possible, will allow the couple or individual to make an educated decision. It is important to remember, however, that gray areas will always exist when it comes to medical procedures and the best way to conquer one’s uncertainty is to load up with as much information as possible. Information is plenty on the Internet, at one’s doctor’s office and at the fertility clinics or facilities.
